HOUSTON: Karting Event at MSR Houston

OK guys this is the plan:

Open Practice from 2:30 to 3:15
Select Teams, go over rules, and Grid Karts 3:15 to 3;28
Green Flag Drops 3:30
Checked Flag 5:00
Hot laps for the winning team in the Rotax.

$70/person minimum 21 people maximum 33 people.

Price is up as we are running for a total of two hours.

Hope to see Scott, meet Hoss and the rest of the Houston Crew.

Sounds fun. What type of karts do you guys run? Do people carry weight to make it equal?

I assume people have to bring their own karts?

The carts used are CRG Rotax Carts they are geared for about 65mph on the circuit we run. In this format there is no ballast weight added as it is 3-man teams for an hour and thirty minute enduro race.

Karts and helmets are provided.

Damn that sounds awesome, I wish I could make it down this weekend....

We'll be doing one a month through March I'll post them up and you can schedule the drive down maybe bring another couple of DFW guys.

For sure!! I know a bunch of guys at UTA that do track events at MSR Dallas frequently.

That sounds great! Too bad I 'll have to miss it, but looking fwd to next one.
