Looking for a Local Porsche Specialist???

Don't know if this is the best place to post this thread, but here it goes. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a Porsche Specialist shop around the Houston, TX area. I just bought a 2002 996TT from a friend of my father's and got an incredible deal on it. Its out of warranty and would like to find an alternative to the dealer based upon how they get me whenever my GTS needs servicing.

On a second note, this car has been sitting for three years and only has 3000 miles on it. My question is what do I need to look for besides to change to oil and check the tires.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you, JC

TT Gasman lives near you and might be able to help. I am not sure if he is on this board but I know he is on 6speedonline.

FYI, all the cars I was referring to as mine were technically my dad's.

Boom, I own a ten year old e46 now.
