Race gas location map Remember...your Porsche wants 93 octane. Mix a few gallons of 100 in there to bring the min up if you're going to run it hard. Race Gas in Los Angeles and Southern California |
Have you guys ever heard of the SERA racing additives? I have been using them for about a year now in my 997TT and they make a hell of a difference! I will post pics so you can see what I mean. I use a 10% infusion as an octane boost and I get improved power, throttle response and sound. |
Theres one down the Street from my House :) Been going there for almost 5 Years for their 100 Octane Goodness. That Map is missing one Station across the street from my Office as well - Crap Gas Station (USA I believe??) But they have Trick Racing Fuel! Vanowen and Desoto in Canoga Park. |
Infineon Raceway, which is less than 10 miles from my house has a Sunoco station onsite with 91, 96 & 100 unleaded and 112, 114 and 116 leaded. If I only owned something worthy of the high-octane stuff....... |
96 Would be nice to have around - I used to mix 100 & 91 to try and save a few bucks... |

Runs great on that mix, I definitely feel power coming on early. The motor will run cooler in hot temps too, not that that's been a problem but I know turbo peeps have issue with heat soak sometimes. |
