Retro look 993's?!? Hi - this is my first post on here and I'm from sunny UK so plz go easy! Might seem like a daft question but was wondering if anyones done any retro look 993's? EG - slammed with Fuchs looking rep's, Carrera side graphix etc... cheers all.. |

I dont' have any examples but I'd like to see them too... |
hmmmm... weird but why not.. |
Thats pretty sick looking! I like it. Don't know if the Fuch's would fit a 993 body though. |
Looks pretty ming to me. The 993 is such a beaty in its original state and so is the 964. There is a guy in the UK called Paul Stevens who does this to the 964, he doesnt fit them with Fuchs though since they have a different bolt pattern and offset etc than the older 911's. What he does is put a modern version or his interpretation of the fuchs on them which looks pretty ok imo. He also backdates them to early 70's style RS etc... Have a look on the googlemachine for him... |
Cheers, i know Paul quite well and we've driven some of his Autoart 964 based cars. The actual Fuchs wheels he fits have been machined from afresh to fit, bit of i've a mixed feeling on them tbh tho! Great cars and lots of passion & effort put into them, with a lot of detail as well. Its mainly the 993 i was interested in tho for the old skool retro look, not having much joy tho. There may be a reason behind that tho.., personallly, i reckon it would look phattt!! :yup: |
