Did they release a picture of the track design publicly yet?

All I have seen are mock-ups.

I like this one because it shows the elevation changes.

That looks epic! Can't wait to finally get to go to my first ALMS race!

It's already not just by the looks of it.

Tilke circuits are usually setup like the following. A pretty long front straight with the start finish line about 3/4 of the way down. While the longest straight is usually is 125% longer than the front straight. Turns are usually 2nd and 3rd gear slow corners. If there are fast turns, they can be taken flat.

The layout looks amazing with the elevation change. Reminds me a little like SPA, which is my favorite track.

Let's see if the track will be ready for 2012.

They are ahead of schedule.

Good to hear - question is which grand stand will have the best viewing. Maybe that first corner.

I really hope they stay on schedule and everything goes to plan... but it usually doesn't.
