Coulthard tests Mercedes DTM car Coulthard tests Mercedes DTM car - Formula 1 news - GPUpdate.net http://images.gpupdate.net/newsnew/131678.jpg David Coulthard was back behind the wheel of a racing car last week as he drove a DTM contender in southern Spain on Thursday and Friday. Having already spent a full season out of Formula 1, the Scot has admitted that a desire remains to return to motor racing. Since departing F1 after a disappointing first corner accident for Red Bull Racing in Brazil two years ago, Coulthard joined the BBC team in order to become a television pundit alongside Eddie Jordan and anchorman Jake Humphrey. With DTM being Germany's leading touring car series, Coulthard - who became a father in November 2008 - tested for Mercedes at Alcazaba's Monteblanco circuit. A number of ex Grand Prix drivers have joined the championship in recent seasons, including Jean Alesi, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, double Champion Mika Häkkinen and Ralf Schumacher, who has raced for Mercedes for the past two campaigns. |
I like DC - especially on the BBC F1 commentary. |
