I think Moss is a little off regarding the #2. People forget Barrichello was VERY quick in the same car (albeit set up much differently). Many time Barrichello won (or should have won) directly against Schumacher at his peak. We'll see - Schumi would not have committed to it unless he thought he would win.

Well said Chris, Schumi is far from a fool last time I checked. Plus Schumi's last season may have went different if him and Alonso were on the same tires, but he still pushed him to the limit despite back luck.

I think that's exactly his point--people judge drivers based on how fast they are compared to their #2. Rubes hasn't won any championships and hasn't won too many races, yet he was still able to beat Shumi now and again. His theory, anyways...

There's no doubt that one of Schumi's strengths was his politics--he always made sure he was on the best team and had the best people around him. He was never "nice"--look at his first championship win vs. Hill. That and his fitness were his two greatest strengths IMO.
