F1 governing body the FIA is currently on the hunt for another new team to join the sport as of next season. The news comes after BMW Sauber announced on 29 July that it will be calling time on its F1 activities at the end of the season; the Hinwil team had until Wednesday of last week to find a buyer but failed to do so.

Even though the Swiss based team is still searching hard to attempt a sale of its Formula One team, the FIA is not willing to wait any longer and is rumoured to be in touch once again with the previously non-selected Epsilon Euskadi and Prodrive outfits, one of which could be granted an F1 license at late notice.

The current 2010 grid looks to be boosted to 12 teams with Campos, Manor and USF1 the three new entrants.

I'd love to see Prodrive in F1. If that doesn't work out, we should start a TeamSpeed F1 team!

With 8,325 members, if we all donated five grand, we'd hit 41 million dollars.
