Two B8 S4's Take Over Some Shop Space @ Elite Motorsports

These two black S4's have gone to hibernation for the next day or so until their ECU's are flashed with the APR software we offer.

Here is a quick graph of the gains! We will do dyno comparisons once the ECU's are back in the cars.

Any questions? :HappyDance:

Nice work, I had heard that these cars pick up some decent power with a tune. The stock graph looks terrible above 5k rpm.

Wow, very nice. APR comes through again!

And yeah, thats a hell of a drop after 5k.

The ECU upgrade really opens up these cars as the stock tune tends to taper off the boost towards redline.

Is this a plug-and-play thing (OBDII)? If so, do you guys ship the controller? I'm likely buying my wife a 2012 S4 when the order guide is released.

APR is the only company that was able to crack the ECU's code. In order to protect against reverse engineering, they require you to ship your ecu to their HQ. Turnaround is about 2 days.

This is correct, we have to ship out the Siemens ECU's. The Bosch's we can do in house.

Back to the old method eh? Had to do that with my B5, B6 was a reflash delivered secure over the web.

It's not necessarily going back to the old method. It's more so the flashing process can only be done by one place and not by many others.
