A5 / S5 question about LED's.....

Always wondered this....
How come every time I see these cars with turn signal on, that side's LED light is not functioning - but the other side is ?
Driving straight down the road, they are always both on.

Are the 997.2 Porsche's like this as well ?

It turns off so other drivers can see the blinker better.

Who uses their turn signal any way? LOL

LOL. Yes, turn signals are a sign of weakness here in Houston.

BTW, I got one of these and now have changed several settings on my car including that functionality...

On my car, I've set my LED's on my 2011 S4, to stay on when the blinker goes off. Also, video in motion is now enabled, and my LED's stay at DRL brightness even with headlights on.
Oh, I can roll down my windows with my remote, and I've enabled the lap timer/Oil Temp page.

DRL is ugly. These LED lights will be out of style in 5 yrs too.

Ya think? The BMW "angel eyes" look isn't out and they've been around what? 10 years? 15? (not even sure but it's been a lot longer than 5)
