Intro... my C4S
 

Ok, I recognize a bunch of you from other sites but figure I better introduce myself anyways. I live in Boston for about 10 more days before I move to LA to start with a new firm. If any of you LA guys have a cheap daily driver (<$15k) for sale let me know as I need to buy a new daily driver for socal... I also need to find a place to live in the next 10 days... lots to do. Anyways, here's some horrible but recent pics of my C4S. I adore this car to pieces and although it looks like it won't be coming to cali with me it will be be staying in the family so I'm not done with it yet. You'll see by the mileage that I haven't been able to give it as much love as it deserves although I have had some of the most amazing and satisfying drives of my life in this car. I can't complain about a single thing with this car and although its not the fastest thing on the street its such a confident feeling car that I've never really wanted more.

Glad to see you over here Nate! Too bad about the 996, but at least she's staying in the family! What's a sin though is how little miles it has....hmmm, don't you know a 996 is a daily driver in Socal :lol: I personally love my 996 C4, even if MiniD does think it's purple. :o Anyway, welcome to The Team!

Welcome to the forum and what a lovely C4S, the mileage is terribly low what model is it a 2002,3,4 or 2005?

5,000 miles is nearly 8,000km if memory serves me right, a friend of mine has a 2002 Basalt Black C4S 996 that has around 60,000km and its his daily driver for 6 years and puts less than 10,000 miles annually.

I know... I'm sure I will. But I'm getting married in July, moving across the country, taking a not phenomenal salary to get in the door with a phenomenal firm, and on top of it all my dad (who helped me into it in the first place) wanted to get his hands on it. It will be very well taken care of and I'll still drive it almost as much as I currently do... It makes sense I guess :(

Glad to be here though, give me 6 months to a year and I'll get my feet under me and step back up into something great, I just despise debt so for now I have to buy a new cheap, boring daily for me, and another for the soon to be wife... no worries though, I think as soon as some new M3s come up on the market for good prices with low miles I will probably melt down...
