New H-D in the Family

Not sure who's into Harley's but my dad just added this '12 Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide Custom painted in white gold pearl and starfire black to his garage. I'm not much of a motorcycle guy but for those that are, enjoy the pictures.

I like motorbikes. I hate touring ones.

Man I love that bike, the Road Glides are just great bikes. Tell your father to have fun and be safe on it.

Not a fan of CVO's, I'm 26 though, but i'd rock the Sportster forty eight.

The forty-eight is pretty slick. I usually don't like when modern American machines attempt to go retro (Mustang, Challenger, etc.), but I do have to admit that the new seventy-two looks pretty sweet too.

What is it that you don't like about CVO's? IMO, they've turned out some pretty good bikes (if you like Harleys) in the past.

Maybe i'll revise my judgement when I turn 50 :hilarious:they don't suit young people well.

^^ Ooooh... sounds like you're talking about baggers in general.

The CVO group at Harley is the high-performance division (Screamin' Eagle parts, etc.). The CVO bikes always have a larger engine, some other goodies and are more of a limited production, versus the standard models. I'm not sure what they offer now, but I remember back in 2008, they had a CVO Dyna Glide that I really liked. It had a 110 cu. in. (1800 cc) engine, versus the standard Dyna 96 cu. in. (1573 cc) engine. It looked like this:

BTW -- Forgot to mention Knox... very nice choice by your dad. Tell him to enjoy it & ride safe!
