very very rare car...remember looking at a silver one here in ohio before it was sold to a collector in chicago. what happened to that company?

Last I read they shut down and created SMS Supercars. Main reason is Saleen was almost pure Ford. They wanted to broaden their market and branch off into different brands.

I saw Steve Saleen at the SMS factory once. Although they were closed but the doors were unlocked(with no closed sign). Unfortunately their cars are VERY expensive. I'd have to go for Roush over it for that reason.
