'10 Camaro SS Photoshoot... 15 images

This past summer I provided my services to the New Orleans newspaper's Automotive Section for a period of time. Every week they had a new car to review, on loan from the manufacturer for six days. Since art direction was completely my call, I decided on locations and processing methods.

The paper only required 1-3 photos per article, but I figured since I was already location scouting and acquiring permits, I might as well go all out and make a full series of it, if for nothing else but my website.

This was the final set from the new Camaro SS. I shot the car back in June, and I've already posted this series to a number of forums, so you may have already seen the photos. If not, I hope you dig 'em.

Awesome stuff, are you using a rig you made yourself or AutomotiveRigs?

I've contemplated buying or building one for so long. It's tempting.

I designed mine and had an engineer friend custom-fabricate it from scratch. :)

Yeah, this was in a large appliances warehouse owned by a previous client of mine. In #3 for instance, those are stacks of refrigerators behind the car. This was one location where we absolutely had no room for error with the motion work. ;)

Yeah, having to explain to GM that their press car is under twelve tons of fridges can't be that fun.
There's just something cool about warehouses. Probably seen too many gangster flicks.
