Bertone's 2 mil Corvette

Bertone Mantide
Corvette in-style
Stile Bertone has unveiled its Mantide concept - a $ 2m reskin of the Chevrolet Corvette - and its plan to build ten customer cars.

Despite packing over 600bhp, for some supercar enthusiasts, the Chevrolet Corvette simply isn't exclusive enough. However, Stile Bertone has come up with the perfect solution – an exclusive coachbuilt body with futuristic Italian styling.
Following its restructuring programme, Stile Bertone, under the creative direction of former Pininfarina designer Jason Castriota, has created the Mantide to demonstrate the company's current good health. At $ 2m, the Bertone Mantide is certainly going to be exclusive, and to prove the point, Castriota has confirmed that Bertone has picked up between three and five orders for the car. Out of an anticipated run of ten, that's good going.
Judge for yourself on whether it's worth $ 2m from the pictures..

Unique styling, but I could have the same body hammered out of titanium by naked supermodels for less. :oh2:

I loved the styling until I saw the front of the car.

that thing is a monstrosity. Especially surprising since the designer did the exceptional P4/5.
