Are we getting a full feature at some point? Or was the best footage?
I only had about 30 minutes to work on it this morning, and that's what I accomplished. As you can see, the clips I pulled were all before we even got really onto G'Town Pike. There's a lot more footage, but I really want to get on the road out and get more. I saved my "project" (all the clips and stuff) in the software before I cut it down and rendered that particular movie, so I can go in and extend and simply add to it without redoing all the work I've done. I'll play with it some more sometime, but maybe not until after my trip :(
I mostly wanted to see if we could do it like that - how it would look. And I think it worked out almost exactly like I had it in my head using 2 cameras. I need more cameras, though, and ideally I'd be using a regular video camera too, filming as a passenger. If I'm going to do a long video, I'd like a variety of clips to pull from. But we get the idea now of what's possible :D
I really wish I'd have had a camera facing NE, with the sun breaking through the trees and fog. That would have inspired me to work on it more tonight... :p

BTW, Charles and Chris: Nice work at Sweet Frog pulling out of the parking spaces in PERFECT unison (the 3rd micro-clip)! That looked so awesome on the video with you guys in sync and me driving by with the widescreen angle!
We need a little more dynamic driving, and again, more cameras to capture it. The parts with Charles zooming by I actually sped up about 130%, so we don't really need to go fast. Just have that dynamic. Anyway...

I think we should turn our headlights on, too. Doesn't look like it'll dazzle the camera...
