do you know the exact name of colour on the blue mp4 hs?thanks

 

If it's a factory paint color from the 12C palette it is 'Sapphire Black'. I'm not certain it is though - I think there is a better chance it was a custom color.

on the configurator seems to me more "azure blue" than "sapphire black"

 

Definitely not Azure Blue. This is an Azure Blue car:



Sapphire Black is supposed to have some Blue in it. Whether it has as much blue as what we are seeing on that 12C HS remains the question. It could be that the photographer played with the Saturation and Color Balance in order to really bring it out in his images too.

There's a Sapphire Black car pictured here, but none in bright sunlight.

Assuming the brightness on the configurator vs real life is different, I thought that "metallic diamonds effect" into the colour was similar from what shown on the config
Imho sapphire black is not the right colour

 

What about the driving of that? is it really good or just an show effect? and what zabout the name and specially "12C"?
