06 Mas transmissions were aweful. Reliabilty is sketchy and if you do a search on Maseratiusa.com's website; there's barely 52 dealerships in the Contiguous USA. What if he wants to go for a long trip and breaks down?

Then what?

Porsche has 202 dealerships in the US alone, if it's a CPO car then he gets the Free Roadside Assistance for that term, not to mention it's really not expensive to maintain a 997.

I think a 30k service is barely 750 bucks. Plugs need to be replaced around 60k.

PM me if you need more help or have a VIN I can help out with.

Mkaaay?

Chris,

Lucky for him, we live about 40 mins from a dealer.... he is just sold on the maz look, and is leaning that way.. i am trying to convince him to go P Car.. but so far no luck!

If he stays away from the DuoSelect there should be real reliability issues.

With a CPO car you get the same benefits as Audi/Porsche etc - 6yr/100k with roadside.

Really depends on what he wants. Won't get the Maserati looks/exclusivity with the Porsche. They're certainly very different brands.

They are both fantastic cars and I'm sure he'll be happy whichever way he goes!
