Just came back from an awesome week on the Nurburgring/Nordschleife with the 40th AvD Oldtimer GP.

A lovely event which brings the best classic cars back on track. This year was the 40th anniversary of the AvD Oldtimer GP and the ///M motorsport division.
BMW brought there best for the past. around 25 BMW M1's, 3.0CSL Batmobiles and the BMW M3 e30 DTM cars and many more.

We had the opportunity to fit our cameras in a BMW M1 Procar with 470hp and 1020kg. This shows some awesome video footage for racing in these days.
The sound is just unbelievable from "just" a straight six engine.

Lot's more to come like the M demo and all the other models. BMW Heaven.

Oh that is awesome!!!!!! We need more pictures, that's incredible

I love this car so much. They had one on show at BMW Frankfurt. I spent an hour admiring it from every angle.

Was driving back from the Nurburgring on Saturday and actually had this driving behind me for a very short time, sounded immense though!

40 years of M power Demo
 

At the 40th Oldtimer GP, BMW celebrated 40 years of M power with a three lap M demo around the Nurburgring. The best M models participated like the M3 e30 Warsteiner, 5 M1's, 2 M3 GTS versions and many more beautiful M models. More here:
