M3 Ring Taxi and Rented Corvette crash on the Nürburgring
An estimated $130,000 of property damage from this incident

The folks at jalopnik report:
...According to police, the accident occurred at around 2:00 pm local time on the circuit's tricky Bergwerk ("mine") section as three cars were slowing for a construction zone. A fourth driver, from the UK, stood on the brakes but couldn't prevent a collision with one of the vehicles ahead. He subsequently slid onto the grass and then back onto the track some fifty meters (164ft) ahead. It was there where he crashed into the other two vehicles...

Glad no people are hurt, but sad to see such a beautiful RSR wounded.

^^^This. So, what happens in this case? Is each driver responsible for paying to fix the damage of their own car, even if they stopped short of hitting any other cars but were hit from behind by someone else?

I'm guessing the track makes you sign something saying you can't sue them for damages but can you go after the other drivers if they hit you?
