Not sure if this is a repost, but isn't this an insult to the "M" badge?!??! I mean really!!!! Anything to make a $$$$...Looks like ass!

We've been hearing for a while now that the 2014 BMW M3 would be shedding a few pounds when it is fully redesigned. We knew that it would lose a few cylinders when switching from the V8 to a twin-turbo V6, but we didn't know that meant losing a few seats -- and doors and a trunk -- as well. So when our spy photographers caught this M3amino testing on the Ring it was a bit of...uh... a surprise. I mean, we know that small pickups are the hottest thing going in Thailand right now and that developing markets are the next growth zone for luxury cars, but...

In another post it said it was a convertible doing testing with a makeshift cover to stop the driver from freezing.

Sounds more like it. Although a M3 (sport ute) thats what a car / truck hybrid is called in australia would be funny to see on the road lol.
