Thumbs up Manhart Racing M3 E92 with V8TT

Caught this over on M5Board. Manhart recently introduced the M6XR based on BMW X6M -687 hp. This E92 M3 could end up being a monster!
I recently visited Manhart in Germany and he had this wonderful M3 sitting in the workshop. It uses the engine of the X6M, so the twin turbo V8 and is tuned to over 700bhp. Has Bilstein suspension, a BBK, very light Breyton wheels (8.5 kg), BMW Performance interior with these special seats and lots of carbon, and a bigger bulge on the hood. Quite a nice job with this orange wrap. Manhart did all these wonderful engine conversions for Hartge, putting a V10 in M3's or a V8 in a one series, they now work on their own products and the quality is awesome. Just wanted to share.

That engine looks like an awfully tight fit. I'm sure it's a beast though!

Manhart Racing was hard to miss at Essen 2010. They brought this bright orange BMW E93 M3 to the show. The sports car is outfitted with the 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine used in the BMW X6 M and X5 M.

The engine was tuned up to a maximum output of 734PS, creating a power-to-weight ratio of 2.0kg/PS. A sprint from 0-100km/h takes 3.3 seconds and the top speed is 340km/h.

The German tuner outfitted the Bavarian sports car with a new exhaust system, M5 E60 differential, the six-speed automatic gearbox from the X6 M and X5 M, an upgraded BMW brake system, BBS Challenge wheel set and a new exterior trim.

A new headliner, carbon fiber interior parts, BMW sport steering wheel with paddle shifters and a roll cage were installed within the interior.

The sales price for this upgraded BMW M3 E92 is € 202,181.

I know it's a game of give-and-take with a project such as this…but that hood bulge is something else.
