World's first dedicated BMW M Division dealership opens in Singapore http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...2132959905.jpg The world's first BMW dealership dedicated to M models has opened in Singapore. While details are limited, Munich Automobiles will only carry the M3, M5, M6, X5 M, and X6 M. As such, the dealerships boasts plenty of M signage and a huge poster of historic M models. Overall, the whole idea is a little crazy. Singapore has an insane automotive tax (a new M3 costs $300,000+) and the M lineup is a little weak right now as the M5 (E60 / E61) has ended production. Will Munich Automobiles be successful? Will there be additional M-only dealerships? Only time will tell. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...4186989807.jpg Check out the source link below for many more pictures. Source: m5board.com via bmwblog.com |
Horrible timing considering they just stopped production on the M6 as well. Looks like a cool dealership though. |
Now that sounds like fun, and I love that they carry older M cars as well, but why not put this dealership in a country where you can actually use the performance? Singapore has virtually no open space. |
$300,000 for an M3 huh? how do people put up with these kinds of taxes? |

that matte black M3 is STEALTH |
This would be a perfect place to open in Cali. |
I could get real comfortable in a M exclusive dealership. It would be nice to have this type of facility in the states. |
