We have great things going on down here in South Florida.
This M5 was prepped by AWD Motorsport. The M5 ran a 10.57 sec pass at 130 trap. Not to bad for a 4,100 lbs family sedan and grocery getter.

I heard about this car, I didn't get to make in out to Moroso that day. When's your car gonna be finished?

 

That's absolutely nuts seeing something that big and heavy go that fast! I was REALLY impressed with how well he hooked up off the line like that. 1.56 sec 60 ft times are no laughing matter!

I have always loved the sound of the Carrera GT's V10 but the E60 M5 V10 can also belt out an awesome exhaust sound.
We will see but we have hopes that with the built TT V10 motor we can but the M5 in the 9 sec. realm. We can only hope. It would be something for a 4100 lbs. sled to accomplish this.

As you can see on the video there are no issues putting down the 584 rwhp.
The power delivery is smooth and perfect. Also the Mickey T's are awesome DR's. They just hook up and go.
AWD Motorsport has really dialed this M5 in perfectly.

BMW made one heck of an engine with the E60, no doubt about that.
