It is far too heavy and far too underbraked.
Andy, have you spent much time driving the new M3? I think it is a great successor to the E46 M3.

This is not a knock on the new M3.

At 3700 pounds, and with still the single piston open caliper brakes, it is much more like the E39 M5, which is a nice car, than the E46 M3, which is a much smaller and nimbler car.

I really think they could have kept the weight down, and slap on the brakes from the 135 and call it a day.

Good friend of mine has a black one that he is modding up pretty nicely, I'll take a few pics next time i see it. IMHO the 4 door M is amazing, especially the 2009s with the new tails.

Radiation Joe is an unknown quantity at this point
Just don't get a white one. They're all white. It's the new silver.
Oh, and there aren't many good go-fast parts out for them yet. I guess that's good since my new mantra is to leave my street cars stock. We'll see how well that works when spring comes around.

Thanks for posting those pics guys. Kevin, that one you posted is a BEAUTY. I really the way that's setup. Tint, HREs, and lowered.

How are the 09 tail lights different?

I hear ya, if I get it in white, all 3 of my cars will be white. I'm not 100% sold on white on the M3 yet.

The lease rates for an M3 would be cheaper than your Swedish cell phone bill.
