so... whats wrong with that video ?
first of all
there is NO WAY the gallardo should have been in last place
the gallardo is a superior track car to the rest

the murcielago should have been in back

also
the 997tt driver was a tool
he was shifting at redline
you shift a 997tt at 6,000 RPMs... MAX
maybe even 5800-5900 (youre out of your power band)

also, it was super obvious that the entire video was staged


dont get me wrong, im sure the datsun is a fantastic car
but based on its weight alone, it can not be faster around the track than a gallardo superleggera

 

it looks like the GTR just has the grip factor better than the competition. that's where it was pulling better.

 

just watched it. obviously LP was shifting at 7k (driver Yuji Ide who used to drive in Super Aguri F1 team) and i think G-SL was setted up in somewhat "normal" mode since
it didn't seem like it was shifting as furious as it did on last race in tsukuba......
the race itself was "whatevers" really......

Did you see the line he took so the GT-R could pass?



The SG goes from catching the GT-R and beating it to only faster than a useless for comparison on said track lotus. It's best motoring, still fun to watch, but they could at least try and make it somewhat real.
