Many of our GT-R customers are aware of the fact that we have been hard at work on a full turbo kit for the Nissan GT-R. Our Alpha 9 package is very popular using our bolt on turbos and has just broken the pump gas record with a 10.1@139mph time in the quarter mile.

Well last Thursday we finally had a change to test the smaller of two soon to be released full turbo kits for the GT-R. The Alpha 10 package consists of a custom cast manifold twin turbo kit, AMS forged shortblock, AMS custom camshafts with springs and retainers, custom fuel system, intercooler, intercooler piping, AMS Alpha 10 trans upgrade and of course AMS custom tuning.

With all of these modifications in full weight Nissan GT-R (4000lbs with driver) were were able to run a 9.33@153mph. what is even more impressive about this car is the fact that is sounds and drives JUST like stock. its a power plant that can be used in literally ANY condition as it offers extremely quick spool and gobs of torque. This particular car is tuned to 900whp and 800ft lbs of torque on our mustang dyno. A dyno that reads a stock GT-R at about 380whp.
