Lifting - Reps/sets etc

For the situation when something over 300lbs falls ontop of me and I need to lift it off so I don't die... good enough?
But yes, I'd rather press 225 a TON of times, but generally when you are able to rep that much weight x amount of times, you max would naturally be over 300lbs already.

I guess I should hurry up and come up with a list of reasons I shouldn't accept naturally being built like a string bean, want to be stronger, faster, or in better shape because everyone should have reasons like being a competitive body builder to be allowed to do these things

Actually I workout because I like to get BETTER at things, whether it is physically, professionally, whatever. Some of us just prefer to try to excel as much as we can at whatever we do. Secondarily, the core and balance stuff I do helps me when I'm on my bike.
But whatever makes all of you feel good, really!
Some of the shit I hear sounds like OWS: "you don't need that much money" kinda like "you don't need to be strong"
