Speculations about the 991 Gt3 RS with or without Turbo Power.
Video: Porsche 911 GT3 RS krijgt géén turbo - Autoblog.nl
Unless Porsche ultimate game of hide and play with us this is the new Porsche 911 (991) GT3 RS.
We have this thing already several times passing by, but gradually it seems certain: this is the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Reason to doubt until recently the "turboheupen" the mule-styled received two cooling holes above the rear wheels indicate normally on a turbo-equipped 911. However, if we listen to this video of local Ring King Dale Lomas than we hear nothing pointing to a turbo. Yet we see the cooling vents in the rear fenders. Oh my god, riddles! Well, the holes can then be used for two things.
Firstly, there is the possibility that the additional holes for the cooling of the atmospheric block are provided. This block is expected to deliver. Now 500 hp quite a lot from an atmospheric-cylinder boxer so very strange is not that more cooling is required. The additional cooling vents under the rear will not sit there for nothing.
A second possibility (which seems likely) is that the openings of the air intake of the engine fresh breath of air. Porsche uses the same kind of holes on the 991 GT3 RSR racer, who need to ask, without turbo. Fat chance that Porsche now also going to apply the same principle.
Furthermore, we can clearly hear that this formula has a PDK. That in itself was nothing new, of course, but the purists will sneak a tear. Though there have been vague rumors that a manual is available, but as yet this is not confirmed. We also have not seen a picture of a GT3 RS with mule manual moreover, if this rumor is true is still unclear.

If somebody catches the next RS on track, using
Engine RPM By Real-Time Specialties https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/engi...340401811?mt=8
or
android Acoustic Tachometer (RPM) Apps von Javier Yáñez - Android
would indicate supercharged or not.

the holes on the back arches are purely there for cooling( no turbo) there will be a faster shifting pdk( no manuel) there will be no 4 wheel steer, the front of the car will be a lot wider than what we are used to as well......and as for colours watch this space!!
