I am finishing off my GT2 project and noticed the carbon fiber on the deck lid wing was pretty good on the edge exposed after I removed the geurney flap to install the adjustable tech-art one

Has anyone flattened off the paint and given a clear coat to the OEM carbon?

Interested to know if the quality of the weave is good enough or if OEM that used a crap version to save money and painted it?
