I think the 4.0 is worth every penny, as with all 911s- it is the last of its breed and the amount of preparation Andreas Preuninger did was excellent. I will say it's not the "greatest" GT car they've produced- I like the 3.8 a little more to be honest. I guess it comes down to personal pref and how one wants to look at it. Dollar for dollar if I wanted "bang for buck" it'd be the 3.8 hands down.
