Yes, where is the freedom!? It's time for a revolution. Give me the clubsport package or give me death! Unfortunately everyone in the U.S enjoys driving huge piece of Scheisse SUVs and loves giant cars, which is definetly effective on all of these stupid regulations (maybe not these specific ones).

Ahahahaha.. =)))) But are there not some states in the us where a car only must have lights, wheels, brakes, steering wheel, front window and a seat?! Saw a funny picture about that once.. =))
Talking about light cars... those guys definately know how to do this..

I think the worst of ALL regulations are the European pedestrian impact regulations. Every year the front ends of cars get fatter, higher, and larger. BMW is a MAJOR offender of this. Almost every single new car they roll out has an ultra ugly, high, large, disgusting front end, making it look almost like an SUV. The biggest offender being the 5er GT. Other companies like Porsche, however do a great job coping with these regulations. For example, the Panamera's front is sloped towards the edge, causing the illusion of a sporty, low dynamic front, and the 991 will feature a pop up hood so it can retain it's sexy low nose.
