2011 Porsche GT3RS Film Wrap Prep & Detail

New vehicle in for prep for the entire car to be wrapped in Satin film by Premier, this particular client understood the importance of prepping all painted surfaces before the installation.

The beginning of the job, removing the factory graphics(Which premier would replace as the customer wanted the graphic glossy red like the wheels and mirrors, as the satin wrap would diffuse the gloss).

Excellent!!!!!!!

Looks great! I really like the matte body with the gloss extras (decals, wheels, mirrors etc). Nice work.

why the need to correct those minor scratches only visible under the right lighting if you're gonna cover it with a satin wrap?

wyatth 04-06-2011 12:45 PM

Because they will probably be visible under the wrap. I would want my car corrected/perfected before being wrapped.

When wrapping the car, correcting the paint is always a good idea. At least removing all silicons/wax and clay for a smooth install of the film.

The owner of this GT3RS is dicerning, and wanted the car right from the start and most dealerships do not deliver the car in a proper "As new state", because it only costs a little more to go firstclass as opposed to coach.......(lol).

God I love that Satin wrap! I'd planned on wrapping my car with it before the clutch went out. Time to start saving again .

Great work guys!

What is the maintenance like with the wrap on? How do you clean or take care of it when it gets dirty? Normal car care equipment?
