Heat Cycling Tires
Figured I would post here and someone would know this answer. I have run Hoosiers on my GT3 many times. I don't know why I haven't in the past, but I ordered my first pair heat cycled. They seem to wear better and are an overall better tire than just the tire without heating. So, what do they do to the tire, and how does this help/hurt in any way?

I'm a big fan of heat-cycling. I do it to all my r-compound tires. My last set of Toyo R888s lasted almost a year on my Panoz track car. The longer you leave them after the first cycle, the better. If you can let them cool for up to a week, that's perfect. A day or two is fine, though.
