I don't think it makes sense to have a flared body and bigger wing on a street GT3LE if the GT2 wth 120 more horesepower doesn't have it. Why would they bolt it on to a slower car that is lower on the 911 totem pole than the 2RS? Unless of course it needs to be homologated for racing but in this case it isn't. If anything the GT2RS should have had it even if it was only to pay homage to the 993 GT2. Most companies won't add race body parts and widen tracks of their car for the street unless they're Mercedes Benz with their CLK DTM. They went as far as making a convertible version of it too. But if they did need to have an RSR homolgated down to the flares and the widened track, it would be a great addition to the 911 GT1, 993 GT2, MB CLK GTR, Cosworth escorts and more commonly Evos and STi's.
Porsche just needs to go the MB route and gave us a flared RSR GT3 4.0 LE and close out the 997 era with a bang. A droptop version would be a bit much though

HAhahahhaha. Awesome. That may be more true than we would like to believe considering how much we have built this car up.
Photo obviously shows gt2rs style front wings. Can any photoshop experts confirm the authenticity of those front canards?
