Looking for Trusted tire/wheel guys in L.A. area for my GT3 Hey guys, Can anybody refer me to a trusted place, that does good work in the L.A. area? I'm looking to throw some HRE monoblocks on the gt3, and need to do it pretty quickly, since the tires are just about bald. I used to know a place around culver city, but the place isn't the same these days. Thanks in advance. The Dude |
I don't know LA but I can't wait for the pics ;) |
Wheel Enhancement is good people. Bought my Champions from them. They're a sponsor too. Also GMG if you don't mind driving down to Santa Ana. |
is Lucent still in business? |
Yeah, contact Arling at Lucent Motors. He sometimes drops by this board. |
Don't know, but how about you post some more pics of your beautiful GT3 :D |
My BMW mechanic has a beautiful and massively expensive Hunter machine that can do tire mounts without touching the wheels. The bummer is he is in Arcadia. In Santa Monica, though I hesitate to recommend them because they are such d*cks even though they do do good work, is Stokes Tires. They also have nice Hunter machines. I thought Arling doesn't work at Lucent any more? |
I use Ron's Wheel & Tire in North Hollywood. Ask for Chuck, tell him Amir from T.R.E. sent you. Their number is 818-764-1560. -amir |

Tom is still at Lucent. Or you can give RENN Spec a try - ask for Simon or Gary. RENN Spec | Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche Performance Parts and Accessories Did all the mods for my M3, including a set of HRE P43 Monobloks with PS2 tires. |
