Have the Carrera GT's prices stabilized and started appreciating? I was just doing a search on prices of the Carrera GT globally. They seem to be selling a bit higher than what they costed MSRP. Is it just me or is this now the case? Thanks for any input :) |
No clue. Are you thinking of getting one? If so, i hate you. |

MSRP was about $400K, correct? Most seem to be around $300-350K from what I've seen. |
The prices had dropped pretty far, but seem to be climbing again. Check w/Jamie - he seems to buy or sell one every other week. ;) |
The last two of which I'm aware (and I'm not following the market like I was) are Kuzi's yellow and Dan's silver car. Check with both those guys for a good idea. Also, Roy Cats can also give you some good info. relative to current pricing. |
A brand new CGT sold for 446k back in 04'/05'. Prices have fallen just like the rest of the exotic car market. Even the spectacular CGT is not immune to that. The prices have firmed up somewhat but to think that they will climb anytime soon is a fallacy for sure. There is just a much smaller market for all exotics in this current environment. |
Thanks all very much for your participation. I'm glad to hear that Kuzi, at least I know I still have quite a bit of time before I need to fork out an arm and a leg. |
Actually, The cars that are going up in value are: Black ones with low miles(like my business partners). 2- Delivery mile car(rare) or cars with below 1000 miles. The rest of the bunch are pretty atable in the 345-365 price range. Atleast thats what ive seen |
