Saved an E30 Was broswing CL this morning and this 1986 325 ES caught my eye. 7 hours later, it was in my garage! The car obviously needs some work, but is definitely salvageable. One less E30 going to the junk yard or crusher...I will do my best to restore it! Here are some photos (and one of my M3!). http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8431/7...e916afb4_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8018/7...b7bec145_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7110/7...38cff6d1_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8024/7...4b685828_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7248/7...8499a23a_b.jpg Love the steering wheel! http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7107/7...c78df996_b.jpg My M3 is almost done. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8016/7...02c5903b_b.jpg |
I had a 325ES as my first car growing up. It was a lot of fun and really taught me how to handle a car in almost situation. Congrats on the save, looks like a nice candiate for a S50 swap! |
All I want to know is is when will it be on track |
Looks like a fun project. Man, your e36 looks awesome. Love that color. |

Can't wait to see the progress Connor. Always had a soft spot for E30s and will probably build one in the next few years when I get some time and garage space. |
Cool stuff, Connor! That would make an awesome track car. Your E36 looks insanely awesome, btw. |
The E36 M3 is basically a track car. It has a cage too. I'm for sure going to do a D.E. this fall in the M3. I'm some what torn what to do with God's chariot. Restore back to OEM+, Le Mons car? Who knows.. |
Fine luxurious vehicle, Mr. Hinkle. |
Looks like a ton of fun!!! Enjoy my friend |
E30s are such a blast! Thank you for keeping this one out of the junk yard! |
