Did they do anything except for looks?

What was the (alleged) reason that BMW never built one of these?

Looks awesome as a sedan, much better than the E90.

I assume it has the e46 M3 engine, if so then that is very nice. Infact very very nice. Wanna trade? :)

Edit: got interior pics? What front seats are those? BMW performance?

Taxes in Norway are sky high so he still has it registered as a 318i but with the heart and bones of an M3 :) Pretty cool if you ask me, just wish he would've kept it 100% stock looking with chrome grills,side thingies, and the regular trunk.
