Autoblog SEMA 2010: Jeep Grand Cherokee gets low-rider, off-road treatment "...the Off-Road Edition politely book ends the other side of the SUV spectrum. Taller coil springs, 33-inch BFGoodrich tires and an arsenal of trail-ready armor all come along for the ride, and unlike its stage mate, Mopar skid plates, rock rails and tow hooks mean this GC actually lives up to its name." http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema002.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema005.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema003.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema008.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema001.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema007.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema016.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema011.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....ad-sema018.jpg |
Personally, I love this. Such a clean treatment and a cohesive package. I'd rock this all day. |
I saw this at the SEMA. It actually looked good in person. It's the first Jeep that I'd consider buying again. |
I like it! Doesn't look bloated, reminds me of the old cherokees that you'd actually not mind going offroad with. Now if they can just un**** the wrangler as well. |
That's so strong. Every time I see a new Jeep GC on the road I go crazy...until I realize it's a heaping pile of Chrysler crap. Jeep's rule, if you like side projects when you get home from work. |

Also had a '77 grand wagoneer that was rock solid and very capable off road for its size. Its a shame how far jeep has gone from its roots with all the mommy models and minivan engines. Bring back the spartan, bullet proof jeeps. |
how did i miss this thread??? its looking good :D |

Didn't used to be that way. I owned a '97 wrangler and in two years I had to change the oil twice and re-attach an ABS sensor. And that was doing on-road, off-road and snow car duties as my only 4 wheeled vehicle. Also had a '77 grand wagoneer that was rock solid and very capable off road for its size. 1 Attachment(s) Speak of the devil, look what parked outside my place yesterday. Same color as the OP even. Real cherokee, still in daily use it looks like and very capable offroad. |
Almost...the one at the SEMA was kind of greyish but close enough. :D |
