Best Electric Razor?

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, so Mods feel free to move it.

I just graduated, and I'm about to start an actual, real job that will require me to be clean shaven every day, and I'd like to pick up an electric razor/shaver. I've never had one before, but I think I want a foil shaver, and I'm willing to pay $$$$ for one that will function well and last for a long time. My hair is moderately thick and grows at an average rate.

Please give suggestions.

Forget the electric and stick with the Gilette Mach 3 and Edge gel. Faster, easier, better shave.

I got away with shaving every other day (or so) last summer as an SA (using a Gillette Fusion Power), but I really wanna try something new.

Remember, to get a good shave, you must actually stand close enough to the razor.

I have used a Phillips Norelco for the last 3 years over here in Iraq and in Pakistan. It is still running strong buddy. I just replace the blades every 6-9 months depending on whether I shave every day, which I have to do most of the time.
