I'll check out BF3 later this week. Haven't had to buy either yet, so I'm waiting on my decision. MW3 has been pissing me off. Seems like the timing is terrible and the network doesn't sync up with all players i.e. I fire half a clip into a guy and die, when the replay shows I barely got one shot off. Not to mention the fact that I played 90% of the way through a TDM game last night with only one other guy on my team.

 

You won't be able to play online if you just rent the game.

No idea how the F peeps are so good on this- wish there were practice maps with weapons and aircraft. Love the huge maps, however this is much much more challanging versus BC2. Its depressing how hard it is lol

 

I'll tell you how... they've been playing battlefield games since the first one and spend hundreds of hours on this game because they most likely have no job and/or no social life other than BF3...

 

On another note, I just got a 1,278 Meter headshot with the M40A5 on one of the Karkand Expansion maps lol... it only took 2 shots.

 

There is some real truth to this. I just started with the Battlefield games with BC2- which, I threw in and played last night-

BC2 is SO much more enjoyable to play versus BF3- it's not even funny.

Actually, I just started playing games again in 2009 with COD, then MW2, then to Medal of Honor (hated) then to Black Ops (hated) then to BC2 (favorite) and now MW3/BF3.

 

Have you played Battlefield: Vietnam Chris? One of, if not my favorite, MP game.
