Does anyone else think the assault rifles are way overpowered in this game?

• No movement when aiming
• No recoil

There's no point in snipers anymore. Plus you only get one claymore in MW2...

 

Wow, just played with some guy who ran 50-3 and 57-6. Glad I was on his team (capture the flag).

 

Maybe at times, what I've found out is that I personally have to get used to the gun I'm using before I can actually do well with it. So I tend to play a long time with one gun.

 

I tend to agree, except for my flag runner class which needs the mobility, there is no point in using an SMG or LMG. I almost never see anyone using anything other than an AR, except for snipers. The good snipers seem to do quite well with the semi-auto sniper rifles, I've been killed quite a few times by them. On a lot of maps, there are distances that simply can't be covered by an AR, and the good snipers can get a lot of kills.

In fact, most of the time the super high kill-death ratio dudes are snipers, since regardless of how good you are, you're going to die a lot of you are moving around the map.

The riot shield is overrated. I couldn't move anywhere without getting killed.

 

Nobody is on Xbox???????

 

Xbox sucks...

 

I'm on the 360, PSN and the headset situation on the PS3 both suck.
