Supercar Choices Qty vs Quality? Thought I would spark some debate. As you may have seen in my prior posts, I just purchased an F40 and a 599 GTO. But at the time I was also considering a stable of cars with approximately equal cost of the GTO and F40. I'm wondering how many of you would have gone the qty route? When I say quantity, by no means are the cars listed slugs. They are simply in a different price/availability band. My Purchase: 1991 F40, 3000 miles, 2011 599 GTO 2600 miles My option A: 458 Spider, Carrera GT, Ford GT and 16M My Option B: 458 Spider, McLaren MP412C, Carrera GT and 16M As you can see it was a tough decision. The list of cars above was compelling and they were all sitting there for the taking. |
Quality. Had you went for choices a, b, you'd just be prolonging your wait for an F40. |
Me personally, I would've chose option A or B. you really can't go wrong with either but I imagine you aren't going to drive the F40 as much as you would a 458 or McLaren. |
Omg what a choice. The purist in me says your purchase. The greed in me says option A only because I can't stand the 12c in option B. Assuming that moneys not really an object, I'd up my limit and replace the 16m with the F40 and go with option A. |
I would ditch the options you've listed and purchase a Carrera Gt and Ford Gt and its the quality and not quantity. |
I would have spent all the money on. Robin reliant. |
I definitely would have gone with Option B! I can't believe how expensive the 599 GTO and a good F40 are! |
having never driven any of those listed I have no idea, but i would love to own a CGT and an FGT on shape, looks, creed, and sound. |
Option B all day long. |
option B. But i would pick a GTO and an SV. |
