This is the fastest Ferrari in the world. It currently holds the AA\BFMS record at 275.4mph. This was done with a down run of 276.152mph and a return run of 274.650mph. Unofficially the car has gone 292.3mph a couple years ago under different conditions. The car is powered by a 540 cubic inch BBC with twin Borg Warner 80mm turbos. The boost level during the record runs was 17lbs.

World's fastest Ferrari powered by a BBC? Meh, not impressed.

This is awesome. I like things like this.. whether it's a BBC or not this is a huge bench mark. Great job!

:respekt:

Agree with Ara. Kinda cool, but not really.

Likewise. Without a Ferrari V8 under the rear hood, can it still really be called a Ferrari?

Of course, it still has the factory chassis #, etc.. to prove that it is a real Ferrari from Italy? Lol. I'd imagine... just because it doesn't have the "V8" doesn't mean anything... its origin IS the Ferrari factory. That it is what counts.

I'm with ARA on this one. I was all excited when I saw the title. Now not so much. But dayum, that IS fast!!!!

What is impressive though is that that body type is capable of withstanding those speeds so ably.
