Did a few of these at the RENN with Evotech software and Quicksilver exhausts - actually took off a few sets of Tubis (a bit tinny and too loud at cruise, according to the customers). Even tuned, no real issues reported.

unless theres aftermarket software upgrades avoid the F1 gearbox

EDIT:Maybe this will help, http://www.sportscarmarket.com/articles/archives/939

one of the most reliable ferrari. F1 gearbox not a problem. you learn to drive it smoothly within 2 days. interior plastic parts can get sticky but can be easily solved.

I know nothing about what owning one is like, but congrats if you are considering buying one!!!

One of the best looking 12cyl F cars all class and you can buy them very reasonably.

yes they are between 70-80k euro with 30-40k km

anybody read that article from Sheehan?? I have not owned a Ferrari, but it really makes it seem like the parts it is made of are sh%%%T.

I don't mind the occassional 1-2K bill if I am using a car on a regular basis, but for this modern F car, he reports routine breakdown of integral components??

Given that Mike sells Ferrari's for a living, you would think he would not over-represent the cost of ownership of a vehicle he is trying to sell. Comments from F Car owners who drive their cars on a regular basis, and keep them for more than 2 years??
