I will be traveling through Asia in the upcoming weeks but have not visited Singapore or Seoul in a long time. Are there cool car tuning shops or dealerships to visit?

 

The tuning market is extremely small in Korea, so not many places to go see.
I can only think of two places worth "thinking" about visiting.


SAG(Seoul Auto Gallery) is one place you might want to go.
It is biggest USED import car market.
So you can see hundreds of import cars in one places.

Sonic(Tuning shop) is pretty much only major shop who does work on major exotic cars for years.


But both places, not worth a visit IMO.
Korea has only one Ferrari dealership(with like....2 cars in showroom)
So you get the idea of the market size.



I am sure you will find much better places in Singapore.

 

How about G-Lux in Seoul? They seem to be authorized dealers for several major tuners.

 

They do have a show room in the middle of Seoul.
It might be worth visit if you are fine with looking at just 1-2 cars.


Btw, Sonic went out of business recently.
The president flew with customer's money worth US$10 million.(Pretty serious news in Automotive industry in Korea right now)

 

sorry for exhuming this thread, but I am in Seoul at the moment and I will be here until the end of June.

So what changed since 2010 (last post)? Any new stores? or is there any meetings/shows to go to?
Is there any TS members in Seoul who wanna meet for Beer or Soju or a small photoshoot of their rides? I brought all the camera gear
