Phil, I'm always skeptical about this kind of stuff. How dirty is moderately dirty? I use quick detailer a lot between car washes, but that's on my 911 that's safe and dry in my garage. My daily GTI gets really dirty since it's been raining off/on here for the past month. Am I better off just washing it conventionally every couple of weeks, regardless of weather?

if you have and can wash your car its always still the best choice.

i do feel if you want to wipe down your gti after driving it for a couple days you should be okay. but of course use your best judgement.

Thanks Phil. I try to hose it off and use the water blade every few days. I just hate having no garage for it!!! I need a 3-car garage, stat!
