What is your "Dream Classic Muscle Car"? What is your "Dream Classic Muscle Car"? I have a list a mile long, but that is because I'm in the business I guess. |
AAR Cuda in lime light I believe it's called or plum crazy. |
You? |
Of the Mopars I like the Cuda/Challenger cars, but the Hemi powered B Bodies are what gets my attention. The Chargers, Road Runners, Daytona and Super Bird get my attention. As a matter of fact, we are restoring a 1969 Road Runner right now that is going to be Limelite. GM I am a fan of the 1970 Chevelle, but I am a little bias. That was my first car. Ford, I have a 1966 Mustang that I am customizing right now. My Mom bought it when I was 6 years old. |
you must names and shame your list dude...and pics go a looooooong way '69 pretty much anything, but i love the stang....and would a '63 split screen vette count? |
|
How about another aussie legend... http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5246/5...410d7faa_z.jpg |
'63 split window OF COURSE counts. Anyone who disagree's can **** themselves in the ass with a cactus. |
I've got a '78 vette, L82, 4 speed long throw shifter, t-tops, and 26k original miles from my father that first got me interested in muscle cars. If I were to buy one myself, it would have to be; 1. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28--yellow with black stripes 2. 1970 Dodge Challenger |
9 Attachment(s) This is the 1969 Road Runner 383/4 Speed that we are working on. It has a long way to go and a short time to get there. http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/o...nner/RR031.jpg Attachment 141959 Attachment 141960 Attachment 141961 Attachment 141962 Attachment 141963 Attachment 141964 Attachment 141965 Attachment 141966 Attachment 141967 |

... How many do you want? Those are easy to find and just as easy to restore/customize with a plethora of parts available. That is depending on what you want. SS 350/auto is easy SS 396/4 speed, not so much and the unicorn COPO cars with the 427 and even the ZL1, well those are a little harder to come by. |

There are a hand full on the market, but not many. They can be restored fairly easily because it shares the F body platform. The GNX used the same G-Body platform as the other Grand Nationals, warmed over significantly by ASC. |
1 Attachment(s) Also a 1967 GT500 vote. A 1967 fastback is one of the best body styles cars ever. |

Personally, I would do just about anything to get my hands on a 1968 GT390 Fastback in Dark Highland Green. |
three are on my list for sure! a 69 charger, a 68 Cuda and a 63/64 continental convertible in black with red interior!! |

4 Attachment(s) My personal favorites would be hard to qualify. I've dealt mostly with Fords for the last 20 years so they are comfortable to go to. I almost picked up a complete 64 Fairlane from a buddy last year....My First personal project I had out of tech school that got sold was a 64 Fairlane so I've got a soft spot for them. I have a 65 and 67 Mustang Fastback basket cases that I will get to someday. I love GTX's, Road Runners, and Cudas for their lines. If I built a Chevy it would be a 64-66 NovaII. All of the above would be built Pro-touring so the hardware they come with doesn't really matter.

Here you go Jireh! A 70 Chevelle for you we just finished this year. Came to us as a "$200k custom build" bought by a client in south Florida. The car was so mechanically hacked we essentially stripped it down to a shell (paint was flawless) and re-built it into a legit Pro-Touring custom. Now has a 463ci BBC with a custom built pulley system, air to water intercooler for the V7 head unit and a FAST XFI fuel injection system. It puts down an easily repeatable 820rwhp. Wiring was so bad we had to cut the dash out with wire cutters so the entire car was rewired with an ISIS Power system with InMax touchscreen. No switches or keys to the vehicle. Then it got a full custom interior. When it was done the client flew out and we road tripped it 2200 miles back home. Attachment 139430 Attachment 139431 Attachment 139432 Attachment 139433 |
