My Dad's 56 Pontiac http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3276/...b66699a5_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3045/...aa0ef8f8_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3006/...dfdd169e_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3213/...df8aff11_b.jpg It's a 1956 Pontiac Chieftan 2 door sedan. It's unique in the fact we can get away with saying it's a bored and stroked crate motor. During the 50s, Pontiac offered a 317ci crate motor. My Dad had it bored and stroked to 327ci. It's a full rotisserie restoration. The colors are OEM colors, but not original paint. My Dad poured his life into this car when I was growing up. The only thing left on it is the interior. But every time we get a quote from an interior place, we go to pull the trigger, and the business has closed. I have more somewhere from this shoot and I'll dig them up. |
